Eight out of ten people from Rutland, who took part in the Flora ProActiv challenge, reduced their cholesterol in just three weeks*. Now you can do it too!

Six out of 10 UK adults have raised cholesterol, but 70% aren’t aware of their cholesterol level or its potential impact on their health**.

To tackle one of the biggest health issues facing the UK, the residents of Rutland, the smallest county in England, took up the Flora ProActiv cholesterol-lowering challenge: a three-week healthy eating and activity programme to raise awareness and inspire people to make easy lifestyle changes.

The results showed that 82% of participants lowered their cholesterol in just three weeks.

If they can, you can! The good news is that it is relatively simple to lower your cholesterol. And to help you do this we have a Cholesterol Lowering Starter Kit and a motivational email programme both designed to help you make the changes you need to succeed. Sign up to start lowering your cholesterol now.

You can also download the handbook that the residents of Rutland followed during their 3 week challenge here.

*Flora ProActiv contains plant sterols. Plant sterols have been shown to lower blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease. Consuming 1.5-2.4g of plant sterols per day can lower cholesterol by 7-10% in 2-3 weeks when consumed as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle with sufficient fruit and vegetables.
